Heading into a weekend of wild contrast. Which, is always good thing. Too much of the same thing gets boring. It’s always fun to find the edge and work around and beyond it.
Friday @ The Riverside Grill, Peterborough, 7:00 p.m. Looking forward to tonight’s show. This is a full vocal night. Been working at a lot of really cool intros and outros to songs. Finding new ways to weave between both popular and original material. The addition of the delay pedal is opening up a world of great options. Look for a lot of interesting work on the slide guitar tonight.
Saturday @ Viamede Resort, Stoney Lake, 6:00 p.m. After a Friday focused on rock ‘n’ roll, Saturday will be a really nice transition. There’s just something about Viamede’s ambiance that makes for a great evening. I’ll be starting things off with instrumental work, building slowly towards a very focused, upbeat extended vocal set to finish the evening off. These combination instrumental and vocal shows give me so much material to work with. There’s a lot of song selection on the fly. I can really tailor the evening to the audience.
Sunday @ The Wedding Bells Bridal Show, Peterborough Memorial Centre, 11:00 a.m. I always enjoy playing at bridal shows. Everyone is so excited. Weddings are such a positive occasion. It’s nice to be around. I’ll be providing ambient music at the entrance area. Aleks Szumowska will be helping me out again. Feel free to drop by and say hi.
