The last show I had at the Burleigh Falls Inn was one of the best musical experiences I’ve had.
The weather was ominous. There was a 40-knot wind and it was cold. Definitely not prime August conditions.
After a couple of songs on the patio, things were moved inside. For those of you who haven’t been to the Burleigh Falls Inn, the inside is spacious and the acoustics are beautiful.
From the first note, everything worked flawlessly. The Bose was barely on, just enough to add depth and presence to the sound.
The crowd was gracious, kind and focused. I toured through a full range of original material, along with marquee covers—all with great response.
I hope I haven’t cursed the upcoming show, but hey, that’s music.
