Cherry picking.
I can’t say enough good things about The Griffin (Bracebridge, ON). My inaugural performance here on Friday April 5thwas magical from my end. There’s a certain energy to what I do, as there is with any artist, and when like-minded people are in attendance, there’s a synergy that happens.
This particular show was one of those nights. It was as if someone cherry-picked those residents of Bracebridge who would gravitate to my work.
It’s hard to know, though, whether it’s you, or something greater at work. The Griffin has a distinct style and attitude. Very, very friendly. Down-to-earth, yet sophisticated. Unexpected.
We’ll see if we can make it happen again.
