Capturing love in a photograph is not an easy thing to do.
This photo was taken at the Bell TIFF Lightbox in Toronto last December. I was hired by a man looking to do the ultimate proposal. Complete surprise. Candlelit walkway. Lone table overlooking the city.
Needless to say, it worked incredibly well.
Sue Morley took this photo about 20 minutes after the proposal. The couple were doing a very slow waltz to my version of Neil Young’s Harvest Moon. It’s absolutely my favourite love song. Romantic, dreamy, and authentic. Most love songs seem fake in comparison. I’m always amazed with people’s universal love for this song.
Hope you have a great Valentine’s Weekend.
