The summer begins.
It was an absolutely wild month of May. Long stretches of shows. Lots of new material coming into the sets. Shifting gears into a lot of private function work, weddings and other interesting events.
THIS FRIDAY: Last singer/songwriter show of the season at The Riverside Grill. Singer/songwriter performances at The Riverside Grill wrap up this Friday May 27th (show details are below). It has been a great spring and winter of performances. Great venue, with incredible staff. Many thanks to Cory, Sandra, Carley, Ainsley and the rest of the crew for all their kindness and support. They will be starting blues night at The Gazebo out back the following week. Keep your eye out for some great international blues performers, and perhaps a surprise appearance from yours truly 🙂 Regular singer/songwriter shows will start back up at The Riverside in the fall.
Thursdays at Parkhill on Hunter starting June 2nd – The “unofficial” start to summer weekends. Really looking forward to performing every Thursday this summer at Parkhill on Hunter. It’s such a fabulous spot. Understated elegance. Incredible food. Great service. Emma & Scott have put together a special menu for the patio. Perfect for grabbing a couple of drinks and a light meal after work. Very affordable too. Performances go from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. More details below.

Art of the Turtle Gala. Had a great time at the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre’s “Art of the Turtle Gala.” There was a great turnout and a beautiful showcasing of artwork for auction. Many thanks to Anne Trimm and Annita Newell for having me at the event. Thanks as well to Andy Tough from RMS Sound.
