The year in review.
Not to make light of things… but the story behind this artwork just about sums everything up for the year.
I was getting ready to rehearse for a responsible, socially-distanced New Year’s Eve performance at one of my favourite venues. I had my graphic design partner doing a few promotions. As soon as she sent them through, I got a call from the venue to inform me that the event had been cancelled. Cancelled before it even started…
So, we decided, hey… why not commit to the artwork, embrace the year, and smile.
